Burrito league bingo!
A sick and twisted game to promote community and adventure.
The Rules
Players have until the end of February to complete the bingo challenges on the card.
Players can complete multiple challenges / segments during one run.
The actual game of Burrito League Bingo! will be played at Early Pour (Dexter)on Feb 28th @10:00am!
To be eligible for covering a square on the bingo board, runners must complete the challenge during February. Example : if the bingo official calls “Cherry Hill segment” but the player has not completed that segment, they cannot cover that square on their card.
The first FIVE players to win a bingo! will be rewarded the grand prize, a framed Burrito League Bingo poster.
All players who eventually score a bingo! will win a Burrito League Bingo! fridge magnet.
Erratic Run Club / Canton Runners
Attend one group run hosted by Erratic Run Club OR Canton Runners.

Here are links to their Strava profiles, with group run schedules.
Coffee Hang
It’s as simple as it sounds — hang out with a friend(s) and chat over coffee.
Not a coffee person? No worries. Substitute coffee for tea, a beer, pancakes, or anything else that doesn’t involve doom scrolling.
Listen to one episode of the PreRacePodcast
Fun fact : Burrito Brothers™️, Adam Hughes and Brent McDermott, met on the set of the PRP. Their first ever conversation, recorded back in Dec 2021, can be listened to below.
Another great listen is Adam’s conversation with Tommie Runz, a community leader / distance runner from metro Detroit. Tommie shares his experience as a black runner in a predominantly white sport, and how he has found and built community.
Run this segment.
For segments, feel free to tag Brent or Adam in your Strava activity for confirmation, or use it as an opportunity to taunt your opponents.
Brent and Adam created this segment a few years ago and used it for an unsanctioned time trial through one of Ann Arbor’s forbidden zones.
PR Run Club / lillie parkrun
Attend one group run hosted by PR Run Club OR lillie parkrun.
Here’s where you can find their group run schedules.
Shovel Your Neighbor’s Sidewalk.
This winter, man.
Next time we get a snow (likely Friday, Feb 6) you should shovel your neighbor’s sidewalk for them without saying anything.
Neighborhood doesn’t have sidewalks? You can substitute scraping their windshield or dropping off a baked good at their door.
Run Broadway : A Love Story
Saturday, February 14th
7:00 AM
Lowertown Cafe (Ann Arbor)
Fun event hosted by Ann Arbor Running Company.
The premise : Run up and the notorious Broadway hill as many times as your little heart can take.
Take a lap!
For segments, feel free to tag Brent or Adam for confirmation, or use it as an opportunity to taunt your opponents.
Instructions : go rip a lap at Ferry Field!
Pro Tip : this is where Bad Decisions Track Club meets here “every damn hell ass Thursdy” for their group workout.
Run at Kensington Metropark
OR Hudson Mills Metropark.
Along with North Campus in Ann Arbor, these are the most reliably plowed paths in our area.
Run at least 1 mile for credit.
Tips and tricks :
Kensington Metropark : park at the West Boat Launch and run clockwise. The boardwalk is still under construction so you’ll want to run and out-and-back, and not the full loop.
Hudson Mills : the loop is 2.7 miles from the Activity Center, and tailor made for workouts. There are a few heated outhouses along the path in case nature calls.
Run this Segment.
Jack Miller ran this segment 131 times in 2025. If you tackle this one between 8am and 10am during the week, you will likely run into him.
Run this Segment.
This segment goes from the bottom of the hill along the river, to the very top, at the gates on Geddes.
Pro Tips :
Pace yourself. The 0.57 mile climb is pretty dang steep.
Star this segment in Strava, and your GPS watch should alert you when you are approaching the start / finish.
Sign Up to Volunteer in 2026.
To complete this challenge, you need to sign up for some kind of volunteer shift. It’s ok if the actual volunteer work doesn’t happen until later in the year. You just need to make a plan and commit.
Some ideas :
Local races like Dexter Ann Arbor, Huron 100, Ann Arbor Marathon, etc. are always looking for extra hands on deck.
Food banks like Food Gatherers, SOS, and Gleaners have shifts available. In fact, Bandit Racing Team is volunteering as a group on March 17 with Gleaners.
Get involved with immigrant support groups like WICIR.
Run This Segment.
“We have to go back!” - Jack Shepherd, Season 3 finale of Lost.
Give the A2 Burrito League segment at least one more barge to complete this challenge.
Run 10 Miles on the B2B.
This can be spread out over multiple days.
The B2B runs for 42 miles, from Stockbridge to Ypsilanti!
You can run anywhere you like, but we strongly encourage you to find a section that is new to you for at least part of your 10 miles.
Leave 5 Comments on Strava Activties.
Here’s the catch : it must be activites for athletes that you’ve never left comments for before.
Send Three Letters to Friends.
Some basic guidelines :
No A.I. allowed.
Doesn’t have to be long or profound, just a note with genuine sentiments.
Tell them why you care about them, share a favorite memory of them, or anything else that feels authentic to you.
Send before Feb 28 so you can tell us how they responded at Burrito League Bingo.
Run at Rolling Hills Park.
Run at least 1 mile to complete the challenge.
There are multiple entrances to this park. I like to enter off Merritt Rd near Wiard’s Orchard, and run a counterclockwise loop, but the world is your oyster here. A full loop around the park will get you around 3 miles.
Run This Segment.
This one’s a shorty, but a classic!
Remember to tag Brent and Adam in your activity for verification.
Pro Tips :
Do not try to drive to this segment. You are better off folding this into your run when you are around the campus / downtown area. This might pair nicely with some miles at Ferry Field.
Guinness Zero Friday on Feb 27 will likely go through this segment, along with Ferry Field, and The Arb.
Set Off A Kudos Bomb!
What is a Kudos Bomb?
Go through a friend’s Strava timeline, and give kudos on at least 50 of their activities without warning.
Pro Tip : Pick someone from Burrito League to nuke.
Run This Segment.
This segment starts on the Cascades bridge and loops counterclockwise around 2.5 miles.
Pro Tips :
After completing one loop, considering tacking on the Burrito segment AND Barton Hills segment for a trifecta.
The boardwalk can be slippery in the winter. Be careful.
Attend a Group Run with Bandit Racing Team.
This group meets 3+ times per week. Adam and Brent are biased because this is their run club, but this group is special.
Follow Bandit Racing Team on Strava for group run schedule.
Run This Segment.
Only one mile needed to complete this challenge. Please note that this segment starts near the corner of Wildt / W Summit, and ends near Sunset / Ponoma.
This is substantially longer than a traditional Sunset climb.
STOP ICE.
To complete this challenge, we are asking you do one of the following things.
Call your elected officials and tell them to keep ICE out of our communities.
Volunteer or make a financial contribution to an immigrant support organization like WICIR or Michigan Immigrant Rights Center.
Attend a peaceful protest standing up for immigrant rights and calling for ICE to be removed. r/AnnArbor is a great rescource for finding ways to get involved at the ground level.
Ann Arbor Track Club / Bad Decisions Track Club
Attend a group run hosted by one of these speedy clubs.
Ann Arbor Track Club is hosting a free track meet on February 10th at Lincoln Athletic Building. Their group also meets for indoor track workouts all month on Tuesday nights.
Bad Decisions Track Club meets every damn hell ass Thursday (their words) at Ferry Field.
Both groups are active on Strava, and you can find their group runs there.
